The GMR holds monthly lunches and other events for the membership during the months of January, February, March, April, October, November and December.  In May there is the annual golf outing.  The GMR has sponsored a food drive in the fall each year since 1987.  This committee was expanded to include other forms of community service in 2008 and renamed the Robert F. Dubes Community Outreach committee in honor of the founder of the GMR Food Drive.  The GMR is a non profit organization whose proceeds are contributed to a fund designed to provide scholarships for students pursuing a career in the grocery industry.
